Project Okurase
The Initiative
I started a small business making personalized cups and coasters, selling them at art fairs and expos. I also continued to work as a junior admin at the learning center.

Action Taken
Through selling handcrafted items, I raised funds and contributed them to Project Okurase. These funds now fully support the education and meals during the school day for a little girl named Florence, who attends Nkabom Montessori School in Ghana.
Our Partners
With the money I earned from selling and working, I’m excited to sponsor the education of a child at Nkabom Montessori in Ghana. She will receive a whole year of education and meals during school days.

Friends of Foster Kids
The Initiative
In 10th grade, I continued to work as a grader at the learning center. I even got a raise. The money I am earning this year is going towards helping Friends of Foster Kids make kids Christmas more joyful.

Action Taken
This year I was able to work as a volunteer and I loved wrapping gifts and doing organization with other volunteers. I went shopping once again and supported the list of two children with toys, clothing, personal items, hats and gloves.
Our Partners
Now that it has been 6 years, I have friends at FOFK and it is so much fun to volunteer and also help out. Ms. Theresa’s commitment to FOFK inspires me to do more.
