It’s meant for anyone who wants to help but may not know where to start, or who feels pressure to do something “big.” I Can Give shows that giving can begin with noticing, caring, and taking small, personal steps.
No. I Can Give does not involve fundraising, donations, or any cost. It encourages students to reflect on giving and explore meaningful ways to help based on what matters to them.

Project Okurase is a nonprofit based in Charleston, South Carolina, that supports students in Okurase, Ghana through education, meals, and community projects.
Bag of Joy supports students through education and daily hot meals, and in 2026–2027, we’re focused on raising $10,000 to bring internet access to their school—helping students stay connected and continue learning.
All donations go directly toward education, meals, and technology improvements for students in Okurase. Every dollar helps create lasting change in their school community.
Students already have donated laptops, but without internet, they can’t fully learn or connect with the world. Internet access helps them reach lessons, resources, and opportunities we often take for granted.
Yes. Donations are processed through our partner, Project Okurase, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donors will receive a tax receipt directly from Project Okurase. Bag of Joy does not handle funds directly and partners with established nonprofits to ensure transparency and accountability.

Each wishlist is created by Friends of Foster Kids. When you adopt one, you can purchase the listed items through Amazon and have them shipped directly to FoFK. Volunteers then wrap, pack, and deliver the gifts to the right child.
