Project Okurase is a nonprofit based in Charleston, South Carolina, that supports students in Okurase, Ghana through education, meals, and community projects.
Bag of Joy helps fund education and daily hot meals for students — and in 2025–2026, we’re raising $5,000 to bring internet to their school so students can stay connected and keep learning.
All donations go directly toward education, meals, and technology improvements for students in Okurase. Every dollar helps create lasting change in their school community.
Students already have donated laptops, but without internet, they can’t fully learn or connect with the world. Internet access helps them reach lessons, resources, and opportunities we often take for granted.
